Premium Essex Carpet, Sound Deadener & RESTOPARTS® Sill Plates

This complete carpet restoration kit combines molded Essex carpet, application-specific sound deadener and RESTOPARTS® sill plates with the required sill plate mounting screws for a complete 1968–72 GM A-Body 2-door carpet installation. The two-piece Essex carpet is heat-pressed and molded to accurately follow the original GM floor pan contours. Essex features a dense, plush cut-pile for a softer feel and richer appearance than traditional loop carpet. An authentically reproduced, machine-bonded heel pad is correctly positioned in the driver's footwell, while vehicle-specific bonded jute backing provides cushioning and insulation. Application-specific sound deadener installs beneath the carpet to help reduce road noise and heat transfer. Completing the kit are RESTOPARTS® ribbed sill plates, reproduced with the correct dot-riveted, GM-licensed Body by Fisher emblems, along with the required 8-piece mounting screw set.
