Premium ACC Essex Carpet, High-Performance Insulation & RESTOPARTS® Sill Plates

This complete carpet restoration kit is designed specifically for 1963–65 Buick Riviera 2-door models with automatic transmission. It combines ACC Essex carpet, high-performance under-carpet insulation and RESTOPARTS® sill plates in one application-specific package. OPGI lists PF55 as a three-component kit consisting of the carpet, insulation and sill plates. The three-piece ACC Essex carpet is produced from 100% nylon with a dense, deep pile and approximately 22 ounces of yarn per square yard. Essex contains substantially more nylon fiber than standard Cut-Pile, giving it a fuller appearance and softer feel well suited to the Riviera's upscale interior. The carpet is heat-pressed and molded to the original Riviera floor pan contours. It includes an authentically reproduced, machine-bonded heel pad in the correct factory location, the correct molded dimmer-switch grommet and 1/2"-thick jute backing bonded to the carpet. Included high-performance jute insulation installs beneath the carpet to provide an additional layer of cushioning, thermal insulation and sound control. Completing the kit are RESTOPARTS® sill plates with the correct factory-style detailing, finishing the carpet installation at the door openings.
