This complete carpet restoration kit is designed specifically for 1976 Chevrolet El Camino models and combines ACC molded Cut-Pile carpet, application-specific under-carpet sound deadener and RESTOPARTS® sill plates with the required mounting hardware. The two-piece ACC Cut-Pile carpet is heat-pressed and molded to follow the original GM floor pan contours for proper fit. An authentically reproduced, machine-bonded heel pad provides the correct factory-style appearance and placement, while vehicle-specific bonded jute backing adds cushioning and insulation beneath the carpet. Application-specific sound deadener installs beneath the carpet to help reduce road noise and heat transfer. Completing the kit are RESTOPARTS® waffle-pattern sill plates, reproduced to match the original GM design, along with the correct 8-piece sill plate mounting screw set.
