For 1961–64 Pontiac Catalina sedans and hardtops, this two-piece ACC® Essex carpet set brings a more luxurious cut-pile finish to the original Pontiac floor. Heavyweight 22-ounce, 100% nylon Essex has a 3/8-inch-deep pile, with over 40% more nylon fiber than ACC® standard cut pile, creating a fuller, denser surface underfoot. The carpeting is heat-molded to the original floor-pan contours. A substantial 1/2-inch jute backing is bonded to the underside to help dampen cabin noise and insulate the floor. The original-style machine-bonded heel pad at the driver’s position and molded dimmer-switch grommet are included. Available color options coordinate with period-style interior upholstery and door trim.
