Chevrolet 153/168-Tooth Straight-Mount Mini Starter by Tuff Stuff®
Compact Hitachi-style starter with a 9-tooth pinion and adjustable mounting block.
This Tuff Stuff® mini starter uses a 1.4 kW (1.9 hp) Hitachi-style gear-reduction motor with a 9-tooth pinion. Its straight mounting pattern accommodates Chevrolet small- and big-block engines with 153- or 168-tooth flywheels. The adjustable mounting block helps position the starter around exhaust and oil-pan obstructions. Mounting bolts and shims are included. The starter is made in the USA from new parts; finish choices include black, chrome, blue, orange, red and yellow.
