This MSD® DynaForce starter combines a 3-horsepower motor with 4.4:1 gear reduction for Chevrolet small- and big-block engines using a 168-tooth flywheel and staggered starter-bolt pattern. Its balanced armature runs on two ball bearings, while the clockable billet mount helps position the compact motor around headers and the oil pan. The housing has a powder-coated finish.
