7 x 22-Inch Starter Heat Shield by Thermo-Tec®
Reflective Mylar shield with a nonconductive interior and two retaining straps.
This Thermo-Tec® starter heat shield measures 7 x 22 inches and wraps around a compatible starter to reduce exposure to radiant exhaust heat. Its reflective Mylar surface reflects more than 90% of radiant heat, while the inner layer is nonconductive. Two 24-inch Snap Straps secure the shield. Check the starter manufacturer's heat-shield recommendations and clearance before installation.
