Original-style shield separates the starter solenoid from nearby exhaust heat.
This starter-solenoid heat shield is a reproduction for the Pontiac Ram Air exhaust arrangement. It positions a shield between the solenoid and the nearby exhaust to reduce direct radiant heat exposure. Use it with the matching original-style starter and Ram Air installation.
