Prevent hot start problems

High-performance, posi-start shield is made of 16-gauge aircraft aluminum (the best possible) and is insulated with a high-temperature silica textile. It will provide a 65% thermal deflection of up to 1500 degrees. This shield provides excellent protection from "hot start" problems, especially when using headers.

Notes

  • Not for use on some aftermarket starters with short solenoids.
