GM® Starter Solenoid Heat Shield
Formed aluminum shield protects the original-length solenoid from nearby exhaust heat.
This aluminum heat shield mounts at the starter solenoid to help reduce radiant heat exposure from the exhaust. Its formed mounting tabs suit the original solenoid arrangement. It is intended for the original-length solenoid and is not compatible with the shorter aftermarket solenoid noted for this application.
