This steel starter support brace is a reproduction of the original Pontiac V8 brace. It supports the starter in addition to the main mounting bolts and uses the original-style mounting holes. The black enamel finish matches the engine-compartment hardware. The brace is intended for the original-style starter arrangement, not as a universal support for mini starters.
