Silicone insulation and metallic-inductance suppression conductors protect high-energy ignition leads.

Magnecor® KV85 wire uses a metallic-inductance conductor with stainless winding around a ferrimagnetic core to suppress electromagnetic interference. A one-piece, high-strength silicone-rubber insulating jacket protects the 8.5mm cable from engine heat while remaining flexible for routing. The high-output suppression design is intended for electronic ignition systems, without relying on solid-core wire that can interfere with electronics. The cable normally works with retainers sized for original 7mm wire; check clamp clearance and the specific boot/routing layout before installation.
