Mini-VIP Ignition Voltage Step-Up Regulator by Performance Distributors®

Steps the ignition supply from charging-system voltage to an 18-volt output.

The Performance Distributors® Mini-VIP steps a nominal 14-volt charging-system supply up to 18 volts for the ignition circuit, rather than raising voltage throughout the vehicle. The compact unit uses a three-wire connection and weighs approximately one pound. Select the version matched to an HEI/DUI distributor or GM® LS ignition system; the two versions are not interchangeable selections.
