Six-AAA battery power eliminates battery-clip leads; the inductive pickup detaches for storage.
This MSD® timing light runs on six AAA batteries rather than requiring a 12-volt connection to the vehicle. Its injection-molded housing is lightweight, and the bright strobe is visible in daylight. A detachable inductive pickup connects to the ignition lead and removes for storage. It is designed for high-powered ignitions and magnetos and may not operate with some stock original-equipment ignition systems.
