PerTronix® Flame-Thrower MAGx2 wires combine a carbon-impregnated fiberglass core and spiral-wound stainless-steel alloy to provide two current paths for redundancy. EPDM inner insulation helps prevent arcing and voltage leakage, while fiberglass reinforcing braid adds strength without sacrificing flexibility. The silicone jacket resists heat, moisture, oil and chemicals, and the suppression design helps limit ignition-related radio interference. Ceramic spark-plug boots protect the connections near high-heat exhaust components; the boot and wire have separate temperature ratings. This universal set requires cut-to-length assembly at the distributor end. A coil wire and terminals for HEI/male and socket/female distributor caps are included.
