High-Impact, Premium Nylon Construction

Various thicknesses

If your Chevy small block or big block has been decked and/or heads milled, you will need to shim the distributor to prevent bottoming out on the oil pump. Bottoming can cause severe damage to the distributor gear and cam gear. These shims are made of high impact nylon and are more durable and reliable than stacking gaskets. The kit includes three shims in .030", .060" and .100" thickness.
