Mechanical latching disconnect requires no holding current after switching.
This Painless Performance® remote battery disconnect uses a mechanically latching solenoid operated by a momentary push-button switch. Once latched, the solenoid requires no holding current to remain in position. The kit includes the solenoid, switch, wiring, connectors and mounting hardware. Its 100-amp continuous rating must be matched to the electrical load being controlled.
