This PerTronix® Ignitor® conversion replaces mechanical breaker points and the condenser while retaining the matching original distributor. Electronic triggering eliminates routine point-gap wear and adjustment and supports stable ignition timing. The conversion fits inside the distributor, preserving the original engine-compartment appearance without an external ignition box. Match the distributor application, electrical polarity and coil resistance before installation; an incompatible coil can damage the module.
