Delco 6-Cylinder Ignitor® Conversion Kit by PerTronix®

Electronic triggering retains the original distributor and eliminates routine points servicing.

This PerTronix® Ignitor® conversion replaces mechanical breaker points and the condenser while retaining the matching original distributor. Rotating cobalt magnets trigger a Hall-effect circuit, eliminating point-gap wear and supporting stable timing. Epoxy molding protects the electronics from dirt, oil, grease and moisture. The conversion fits inside the distributor, preserving the original engine-compartment appearance without an external ignition box. Match the distributor application, electrical polarity and coil resistance before installation; an incompatible coil can damage the module.
