Street Fire CD Ignition Control with Rev Limiter by MSD®

Capacitive discharge and multiple sparks support starting, idle quality and throttle response.

This MSD® Street Fire control uses capacitive-discharge ignition with multiple sparks during a 20-degree crankshaft window at lower engine speeds. The spark strategy supports combustion and throttle response without promising identical gains on every engine. A built-in rev limiter uses rotary adjustments in 100-rpm steps. The cast-aluminum housing contains the ignition electronics, and the control accepts breaker-points, amplifier or magnetic-pickup triggers for compatible four-, six- and eight-cylinder systems. Installation instructions are supplied.
