Blaster 2 Ignition Coil Kit by MSD®

Oil-filled canister and low-resistance winding support compatible performance ignitions.

This MSD® Blaster 2 coil uses an oil-filled canister and low-resistance primary winding for compatible performance ignition systems. The kit includes a ballast resistor, coil boots and terminals. Points ignition and non-current-limiting systems require the appropriate ballast resistance, while a compatible MSD capacitive-discharge control does not use the coil ballast resistor. Check the ignition requirements before installation.

• Oil-filled performance canister coil • 0.7-ohm primary resistance • 45,000-volt maximum output; 100:1 turns ratio • Ballast resistor, boots and terminals included • Chrome or red option; match the selected finish • Points/non-current-limiting ignition requires suitable ballast resistance
