Chevrolet Small Block/Big Block Deluxe HEI Distributor by Davis Unified Ignition®

Cross-Fire routing, an adjustable collar and a composite gear are combined in one HEI distributor.

This Deluxe Davis Unified Ignition® distributor uses a Cross-Fire cap to group plug wires by cylinder bank. A slip collar provides 7/8 inch of height adjustment so distributor engagement can be set on modified engine combinations. The Carbon Ultra-Poly composite drive gear is specified by the manufacturer for use with any camshaft in its Chevrolet DUI application. Each assembly is calibrated on a distributor machine to establish the advance curve. The integrated HEI coil and module eliminate a separate coil or ignition box; the Cross-Fire layout requires matching plug-wire lengths.
