Chevrolet Small Block/Big Block Cross-Fire HEI Distributor by Davis Unified Ignition®

A Cross-Fire cap groups the plug-wire connections by cylinder bank for cleaner routing.

This Davis Unified Ignition® Cross-Fire distributor combines the Street/Strip HEI coil and high-dwell module with a cap that groups plug-wire connections by cylinder bank. The layout reduces wires crossing over the engine and makes routing easier to follow. A calibrated mechanical advance curve and vacuum advance provide timing control for street use. The black cap requires different lead lengths from a conventional HEI cap, so use a wire set intended for Cross-Fire routing. The distributor does not include a plug-wire set.
