Chevrolet Small Block/Big Block Ignitor II Billet Distributor (Black, Vacuum) by PerTronix®

A supported shaft, electronic ignition and adjustable advance are housed in polished billet aluminum.

This PerTronix® Flame-Thrower billet distributor uses a polished CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum housing and a tempered steel shaft supported by an upper ball bearing and a long lower oil-impregnated bronze bushing. Ignitor II varies dwell electronically to suit operating conditions. Mechanical and vacuum advance allow light-load timing and the performance curve to be tailored to the engine. A mechanical-advance limiter and additional springs permit curve adjustment. The high-dielectric cap and matching rotor use brass contacts. The assembly includes its heat-treated drive gear and ignition module, but requires a compatible external coil; no separate ignition-control box is needed.
