Blaster SS E-Core Ignition Coil by MSD®

Efficient E-core winding and a tall brass-terminal tower support high-output ignition.

This MSD® Blaster SS coil uses an efficient E-core layout with low primary resistance in a compact molded housing. Encapsulated windings resist vibration, while the tall tower and brass high-voltage terminal provide separation and conductivity at the coil-wire connection. With an MSD 6-series control, the rated output is 40,000 volts and 300 mA. For points or non-current-limiting ignition without an MSD control, follow the specified ballast-resistor arrangement rather than connecting the coil directly.
