This PerTronix® Flame-Thrower II oil-filled coil provides a traditional canister appearance with a 0.6-ohm primary winding selected for Ignitor® II and compatible capacitive-discharge ignitions. The low-resistance winding supports coil charging, while oil filling dissipates heat. Match primary resistance to the ignition module rather than choosing a coil by voltage rating alone. Install the canister upright with its terminals at the top.
