Chevrolet HEI Cross-Fire Cap and Rotor Kit by Davis Unified Ignition®

A Cross-Fire cap separates the plug-wire connections by cylinder bank for orderly routing.

This Davis Unified Ignition® Cross-Fire cap and rotor kit converts the wire routing on a compatible Chevrolet HEI/DUI distributor to a bank-separated layout. The black cap groups the plug-wire connections so leads can follow the corresponding side of the engine. Brass terminals provide the high-voltage connections. Different wire lengths are required from a conventional HEI cap, so use a wire set intended for Cross-Fire routing. This kit supplies the cap and rotor, not a distributor, ignition coil or plug-wire set.
