GM HEI Distributor Mechanical-Advance Curve Kit

Replacement counterweights, bushings and springs permit advance-curve tuning.

This HEI advance kit supplies counterweights, bushings and a spring assortment to tune centrifugal advance as engine speed changes. Different spring tensions alter when the weights move and how quickly mechanical advance reaches its limit. The kit replaces the corresponding parts in the matching HEI distributor; it does not adjust the vacuum canister. Verify the resulting timing curve after installation.
