Alternator-conversion harness adapts external-regulator wiring to an internally regulated SI alternator.
This external to internally regulated si series alternators wiring harness is configured specifically for Universal Conversion. It is used when converting to an internally regulated "SI" series alternator originally used on 1972-84 non-serpentine-belt vehicles. It uses automotive-grade GXL wire with heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation, correct factory wire gauge, length and color, and original-style connectors and terminals.
