This replacement voltage regulator is for the corresponding Pontiac 35-amp generator charging system. A factory-style base and electrical connections preserve the original mounting and harness arrangement, and the black steel cover retains the underhood appearance. Match the generator rating and terminal layout before installation; visually similar generator and alternator regulators are not interchangeable merely because their covers look alike.
