1967-69 Pontiac GTO/1969 Grand Prix Battery Cable Heat Tube (Ram Air/HO)
Steel reproduction tube shields the positive battery cable near the exhaust manifold.
This steel reproduction battery-cable heat-isolator tube protects the positive cable where it passes near the exhaust manifold. The Ram Air/HO version mounts at the driver-side engine mount. It is not the head-bolt-mounted tube used between cylinders five and seven on other V8 arrangements. Retain the original cable route through the tube so the cable remains separated from exhaust heat.
