Detroit Speed battery relocation kit is a great way to reduce underhood clutter and improve weight distribution. This CNC machined aluminum battery mount is designed around the optima battery (GROUP 34 /78 batteries). The entire battery mount is machined from 6061 billet aluminum. Three countersunk stainless steel bolts secure the top of the battery mount to the support rods. The base of the mount is mounted to your vehicle with no visible bolts from the top. It is a simple, strong way to hold your Optima battery anywhere. There are six drilled and tapped holes on the underside of the base. Although fewer attachment locations will securely mount your battery, the provided six mounting holes give you added flexibility. A mounting hole template is provided to assist you in locating the holes.
