Blended contours, hidden case bolts and teardrop detailing keep the charging system visually clean.
This Powermaster® Smooth Look™ alternator blends the edges of its 12SI-style housing and conceals the case bolts for a clean, rounded profile. Teardrop-shaped surface details give the alternator a finished appearance in an exposed engine compartment. This baffle-only version leaves off the nose cone. Its 100-amp rating includes 75 amps at idle, helping support charging and accessory loads at lower engine speeds. An internal regulator permits one-wire or compatible three-wire operation, and the six-rib serpentine pulley is included. Each alternator is individually dyno-tested. Conversions from an externally regulated alternator require the appropriate wiring changes, not reuse of the external regulator.
