GM CS130 XS VOLT™ 140-Amp Alternator (6-Rib, Baffle/Cone) by Powermaster®
95-amp idle output, a compact case and two cooling fans support low-speed charging.
This Powermaster® CS130 provides 95 amps at idle and 140 amps at top end, supporting charging and accessory loads at low engine speeds. Its compact 5.12-inch case and 6.61-inch straight mounting span offer a smaller-case option for compatible 10SI/12SI installations; pulley alignment and wiring still need to match. Internal and external fans move cooling air through the alternator to dissipate heat. The internally regulated XS VOLT™ design uses a one-wire charging connection. A rear screw adjusts the set point from 13.5 to 18.5 volts for 12-, 14- or 16-volt systems; set it to the battery and electrical-system requirements. The six-rib serpentine pulley is included. The front baffle and cone cover the pulley area for a finished engine-compartment appearance. Each alternator is individually dyno-tested to document output.
