Runs a cable-driven speedometer from a modern electronic speed signal with Bluetooth calibration.
Dakota Digital’s ECD-200BT bridges a late-model electronic vehicle-speed output to a traditional mechanical cable-driven speedometer. The compact 5-1/2 x 3-1/2 x 2-inch module uses a controlled electric drive motor to turn a 36-inch speedometer cable smoothly without overdriving the gauge. Its waterproofed case can be mounted in the cabin, engine compartment or fenderwell, while Bluetooth connectivity supports setup through Dakota Digital’s mobile app; a supplied programming switch and LED readout provide an additional setup method. For OBD-II vehicles, the included pigtail can connect at the diagnostic link connector to simplify signal wiring. OPGI’s vendor-SKU options cover ECD-200BT-1 for 5/8-inch GM/Ford thread-on cable connection and ECD-200BT-2 for GM clip-on applications.
