2-1/16-Inch Fuel Level Gauge (73 Ohm Empty/10 Ohm Full) by AutoMeter®
Damped air-core movement steadies the fuel-level reading as fuel moves in the tank.
This 2-1/16-inch AutoMeter® fuel gauge uses an air-core electric movement with needle damping to reduce fluctuations caused by fuel slosh. The gauge is calibrated for the non-linear 73-ohm-empty/10-ohm-full sender curve used by many early Ford and Chrysler applications. It is not interchangeable with a 0-90-ohm GM gauge. It operates with 12- or 16-volt electrical systems. Lighting and dial appearance follow the selected gauge series. Incandescent versions include a bulb/socket assembly and red and green bulb covers. Mounting hardware and installation instructions are supplied. Match the gauge to the tank sender before installation; this is a fuel-level gauge, not a replacement sending unit.
