Tachometer Signal Filter by Marshall Instruments™
Conditions the coil signal to reduce needle fluctuation caused by ignition noise.
This Marshall Instruments™ filter replaces the original tachometer filter on compatible GM® applications. Installed between the tachometer and its signal source, usually the ignition coil, it reduces noise and voltage surges by shaping sharp signal spikes into a steadier semi-square-wave signal. The conditioned signal helps steady the pointer and improve its response. Match the original filter and ignition connection before installation.
