Remote electrical temperature sender keeps coolant outside the cabin; no capillary tube is needed.
This AutoMeter® 2-1/16-inch water-temperature gauge uses an air-core electric movement to display 100-250°F. The included 1/8-inch NPT temperature sender mounts in the engine's coolant passage and sends an electrical signal to the instrument panel. There is no mechanical capillary tube or coolant line to route to the gauge. The package includes 3/8- and 1/2-inch NPT sender adapters, mounting hardware and instructions. The gauge is compatible with 12- and 16-volt systems. LED or incandescent illumination depends on the selected series; incandescent versions include their bulb/socket and red and green covers.
