Borg Clock Quartz Conversion Kit
Quartz movement and installation hardware update the original dash-clock mechanism.
Update a compatible Borg clock with a quartz movement while retaining the original dash-clock appearance. The kit includes the movement, three rubber grommets, three washers, three dial nuts and motion wheels for the pre-1970 and later Borg mechanisms. Written instructions and an online installation video guide the conversion. The movement connects to the original 12-volt supply and draws approximately 10-11 mA. Where the clock has a second hand, quartz operation changes it to a smooth sweep rather than the original tick. The movement is assembled in the USA and carries a one-year manufacturer warranty.
