1969 Chevelle, Malibu & El Camino VHX System with Analog Clock by Dakota Digital®
Six stepper-motor gauges, LCD data and an analog clock update the 1969 dash while retaining its layout.
Dakota Digital’s VHX instrument system updates your 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle, Malibu or El Camino with six analog gauge functions while preserving a vehicle-specific classic layout. Micro-controlled stepper motors operate a 0-160 MPH speedometer, 0-8,000 RPM tachometer, 0-80 psi oil-pressure gauge, 100-260°F water-temperature gauge, fuel level and 9-17 VDC voltmeter. Backlit faces, fully illuminated needles and LCD message centers add odometer, dual trip, clock, estimated range, performance timers, high-speed/high-RPM recall and programmable warnings. The system supports stock or aftermarket fuel senders and includes the required oil-pressure, water-temperature and speedometer sensors, control box, switch assembly and wiring. BIM expansion modules can add specialty readings without cutting extra gauge openings. The VHX-69C-CVA package is the analog-clock configuration and uses the vehicle’s bezel/instrument-housing architecture. Dakota’s installation package includes the VHX display, universal sender pack, control box, switch assembly, CAT5 cables, indicator harnesses, clock harness and gear lens.
