1970-72 Chevelle SS/Monte Carlo/El Camino & 1971 Sprint SP RTX by Dakota Digital®
RTX keeps the six-round-gauge look while adding TFT data, configurable lighting and modern electronics.
Dakota Digital’s RTX system gives your 1970-72 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, Monte Carlo or El Camino, plus 1971 GMC Sprint SP a factory-inspired instrument layout with modern electronic control hidden behind the vintage appearance. Six round gauge locations retain the familiar performance-dash appearance while two TFT information displays remain visually discreet. The system monitors speed, engine RPM, oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level and voltage; the analog speedometer is 0-120 MPH, the tachometer reads to 8,000 RPM, oil pressure to 80 psi, water temperature from 100-260°F and voltage from 9-17 VDC. High-definition TFT message centers provide odometer, dual trip meters, clock, estimated range, performance timers and recall information while hidden indicators handle turn signals, high beam, check engine, parking brake and other equipped functions. LED backlighting offers extensive user-selectable color themes with separate day/night brightness, and setup/calibration can be performed through the instrument controls or compatible Bluetooth mobile app. Dakota Digital supplies the central control box plus oil-pressure, water-temperature and speed-signal hardware. Designed as a bolt-in upgrade to a stock or reproduction gauge carrier and bezel; carrier/bezel are sold separately.
