1964-65 Chevelle & El Camino Speedometer, Tachometer & Quad Gauge Conversion by Classic Instruments®
Six-gauge conversion includes wiring, oil/temperature senders and an adapter panel.
This Classic Instruments® dashboard conversion is designed for 1964–65 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino, with selectable gauge-face styles. The conversion provides a speedometer, tachometer and four-function gauge displaying fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure and volts. The package includes automotive-grade TXL wiring with machine-crimped terminals, protective sleeve and Molex® connectors, plus an adapter panel and mounting hardware for the existing dashboard bezel. Oil-pressure and water-temperature sending units are included; the fuel-tank sending unit is not included. The base fuel gauge is calibrated for a 0–30-ohm sender, whereas some 1965 vehicles use 0–90-ohm senders and require a matching gauge/sender option. The original dash housing and bezel are not included. Classic Instruments®' Zero Signal Technology (ZST) accepts ECM/VSS signals without an additional control box. A seven-year limited warranty applies to the original purchaser under Classic Instruments® warranty terms. Gauge-face styles and speedometer/tachometer ranges vary by selected series. An optional LED gauge-light dimmer is available separately with a remotely mounted adjustment switch for brightness control.
