GSS-3000 Universal Gear Position Sending Unit by Dakota Digital®
Displays automatic-transmission gear position and adds reverse-light and neutral-safety outputs.
Dakota Digital’s GSS-3000 is a universal automatic-transmission gear-position sensing system that can feed Park, Reverse, Neutral and forward-gear information to compatible VFD, VHX, HDX, RTX and DGS displays. The package combines a transmission-mounted sensor, compact decoder and adjustable mounting linkage. It is user-calibrated for transmissions with two to four forward detent positions, and the decoder provides a reverse-light output rated up to 15 amps plus a neutral-safety output using the supplied 30-amp relay. Stainless-steel and aluminum mounting hardware is included for common GM TH350, TH400, 700R4 and 4L60/70/80 transmissions plus Ford C4/C6, with a universal bracket for other applications. Dakota Digital gear-position displays/instrument systems are sold separately.
