This AutoMeter® DashControl™ module uses the 2015-16 Cadillac Escalade's original Driver Information Center to show vehicle data without adding separate gauges. It plugs into the OBD-II port, starts with the vehicle and enters a low-power sleep mode when the vehicle stops. User-configurable pages organize engine, fuel, temperature and performance data, while programmable thresholds can display a warning and sound the factory chime. Up to two additional analog inputs expand monitoring beyond the vehicle's existing sensors. Put the Driver Information Center in Navigation Mode to see the controller text; the door-lock button advances through display pages and still locks the doors. A profile switch selects saved configurations or the configuration mode used with the setup software. The installation makes no permanent vehicle-computer changes and is reversible by unplugging the module. Available readings depend on the data supplied by the vehicle and any connected additional sensors.
