Flame-resistant formed-fiberglass material is factory machine-stamped to original specifications so the contours, fit and installed appearance match the GM original. Replacing missing or deteriorated insulation restores the finished underside of the hood while increasing heat absorption and helping quiet engine noise. Insulation retaining clips are sold separately.
