Universal A/C Trinary Safety Switch by Vintage Air®
Combines compressor pressure protection with an electric-fan engagement signal.
Protect the A/C compressor and coordinate electric-fan operation with a Vintage Air® trinary safety switch. The switch opens the compressor-clutch circuit if refrigerant pressure falls below 30 PSI or exceeds 406 PSI, and provides an electric-fan engagement signal at 254 PSI. Choose the female-thread switch, male-thread switch or beadlock-crimp installation kit to match the refrigerant plumbing. The male version uses a 3/8-24 thread with an O-ring seal. Wire the fan-control signal through the appropriate relay according to the Vintage Air diagram; the switch is not a direct power feed for the fan motor.
• Functions: Low/high pressure compressor cutoff and electric-fan signal
