French Lock, Exhaust Manifold, 1964-66 Buick GS/Riviera, 300-425 Engine
Stainless steel exhaust manifold French lock for Buick 300–425 V8 engines. Sold individually.
Keep your Buick's exhaust manifold bolts securely fastened with this factory-style stainless steel French lock. Designed for applicable 1964-66 Buick GS and Riviera models equipped with 300-425 cubic-inch engines, this reproduction locking tab helps prevent exhaust manifold bolts from loosening due to repeated heating and cooling cycles. Its original-style design makes it an excellent choice for maintaining proper exhaust manifold fastening while preserving the factory appearance of your engine compartment.
Manufactured from stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance, this French lock is designed to secure the exhaust manifold mounting hardware after installation. The locking tab is bent against the appropriate bolt head to help prevent rotation during engine operation. The 1964-66 GS400 requires four of these locks in addition to the separate S230165 French locks, while other applicable Buick models use S230166 in quantities determined by their original exhaust manifold configuration. Ideal for exhaust manifold repairs and factory-style restorations, this replacement component helps maintain dependable fastening and an authentic appearance.
