The pair of Flowmaster® "Super 50"™ mufflers combines a deep, moderately aggressive exterior tone with a quieter interior sound for the El Camino and Sprint cab. Mandrel-bent, 16-gauge aluminized steel pipes carry the dual 2-1/2-inch system, and an H-pipe balances pressure between the banks. The tailpipes turn outward behind the rear wheels and end in 3-inch polished stainless steel tips with angle-cut outlets. Applications: 1964-72 Chevrolet El Camino & 1971-72 GMC Sprint with V8 engines. This crossmember-back set includes the mufflers, pipes, H-pipe, hangers, clamps and mounting hardware. Installation requires welding; the forward connections must be fitted to the vehicle’s header collectors or compatible manifold downpipes.
