These short chrome-plated steel valve covers fit 1958-86 Chevrolet Small Block 283-400 engines. The smooth, perimeter-bolt covers use internal oil-control baffles and one 1.25-inch push-in breather/oil-fill opening per cover. The short/OEM-height profile is approximately 2-5/8 to 2-3/4 inches tall depending on supplier specification. Sold as a pair.
