Available with hex or 12-pt heads

ARP valve cover studs are available in black oxide-coated chromoly steel or ARP's own "Stainless 300" material. The studs are rated up to 170,000 psi and the stainless versions are impervious to corrosion or extreme heat. The heads on the studs feature either 12-points or a hex, so they can be tightened easily in small increments. The centerless ground flat washers are included to distribute the tightening load over a wider area.
