For Big-Block Chevrolet 396-454 with 2-bolt mains, these ARP® main-cap bolts are forged from 8740 chromoly steel with a large under-head radius and threads rolled after heat-treating. Hardened parallel-ground washers are included to support stable, repeatable main-cap clamping.
